A video that is not so new but that I really liked when I saw it for the first time. Wanted to share it.

I will for sure never have the money to buy a tourbillon, but we can nevertheless appreciate its beauty thanks to this very poetic movie!


Très concrètement, je n'aurai jamais les moyens de m'offrir une tourbillon, mais on peut en apprécier la beauté grâce à cette vidéo très poétique!

TORINO, STREETS

Saturday, we went to Torino with Pauline and we really fully enjoyed it: the weather was nice, it was (almost) warm, and we walked a lot, and drunk a lot of latte macchiati!

We have been at the top of the Mole Antonelliana, that you can see on this link, in which there is the National Museum of Cinema.

We also visited the Egyptian Museum, the second biggest egyptian collection after the one from Cairo: the photos on this link.

Besides, we have also (re)discovered the Eataly concept (photos on this link), which aim is to promote typical italian products, in which we can eat and buy a lot of really tasty and healthy products (well, not always when it comes to panettonis for instance!): they even have a store in New York!

Ce samedi, nous sommes allées à Turin avec Pauline, on en a bien profité: il faisait beau, (presque) "chaud", on a bien marché et on a bu plein de latte macchiati!

Nous sommes montées en haut du toit de la Mole Antonelliana, que vous pouvez voir sur ce lien, qui abrite aussi le Musée national du Cinéma.

Nous avons aussi visité le Musée Egyptien, le deuxième plus grand musée d'antiquités égyptiennes au monde après celui du Caire, dont vous pouvez voir les photos sur ce lien.

Et nous avons (re)découvert le concept des espaces Eataly (les photos sur ce lien) qui font la promotion des produits typiques italiens, où l'on peut se restaurer, acheter plein de bonnes choses fraîches et healthy (enfin pas toujours quand c'est des panettoni par exemple!): ils ont même un espace à New York!

Here are some photos of the very numerous works of art exhibited in Torino's Egyptian Museum. The collection is so big that it is impossible to look at everything and remember even the half of what is shown!

FISHEYE PHOTOS

Here are the photos (in chronological order) taken with the camera Louis offered me for Christmas: there are not so many because with this type of camera, according to the film, to the light, etc, there are lots of non usable photos! But I noticed that I got used to using this camera with time, and the last photos taken are better than the first ones! Unfortunately, none of the photos I took in London are good...!

I will little by little add all the Fisheye photos I have on this link, so it's easier to see all of them!

Voici les photos (dans l'ordre chronologique) que j'ai pu prendre avec l'appareil photo que Louis m'a offert pour Noël: il n'y en a pas beaucoup car avec cet appareil, selon la pellicule utilisée, la lumière, etc, il y a pas mal de ratés! Mais je me suis rendu compte que j'avais pris la main vers la fin quand je compare aux photos du début! En revanche, aucune photo de Londres n'est exploitable...!

Je vais ajouter au fur et à mesure toutes les photos prises avec le Fisheye sur ce lien pour que ce soit plus facile de toutes les voir, plutôt que sur des posts différents!

TIPHAINE IN MILAN

Somes photos of the week when my friend Tiphaine came to Milan. She also accepted to take few photos of me in the Novecento museum to immortalise my look, very simple, but with my new Zara shoes, a little Pocahontas-ish, but sexy Pocahontas with heels (with a piece of cigarette stuck under it, try to find it!)

Quelques photos de la semaine où Tiphaine est venue à Milan. Elle a aussi bien voulu faire la "photographe" dans le musée du Novecento pour immortaliser mes nouvelles chaussures Zara genre Pocahontas sexy (avec un magnifique mégot de cigarette coincé sous le pied: cherchez l’intrus!)

AT THE TOP OF THE DUOMO

Going on the roofs of the Duomo is really worth it! Besides, we were lucky the weather was so good, and I think we went there at the right time because it was almost sunset so the light gave special effects on the buildings. What is really nice too, is that we can stay as long as we want at the top of the roofs and that we have quite a lot of space (although half of the roof is being cleaned and consolidated at the moment). I also loved seeing Milan from above, especially the Duomo place which has special geometrics designs on the ground that we can actually see and appreciate only like this. I will definitely do it again soon, when the weather will be even better and warmer!

Aller sur les toits du Duomo vaut vraiment le détour! En plus, on a eu de la chance, on a eu un temps magnifique et je pense qu'on y est allé à une heure où la lumière était belle et donnait du relief aux monuments. Ce qui est vraiment très agréable c'est aussi que l'on peut se poser tout en haut et que l'on a vraiment de la place (alors que la moitié du toit est en réfection). J'ai adoré aussi le fait de pouvoir voir Milan de très haut, et surtout la place du Duomo qui a des motifs particuliers au sol, dont on ne peut apprécier l'effet qu'en prenant du recul. Bref, à refaire très vite dès qu'il fait encore plus beau et encore plus chaud!
