NATURAL MAKEUP, FRENCH GIRL STYLE.
Us French girls are not as low maintenance as we pretend to be (yup, here we go, I said it). We also spend a significant amount of time in the bathroom, even if we love to pretend we don't care and that we get ready in 5 minutes tops without putting much effort into it. #iwokeuplikethis (#ornot)
Natural makeup IS a makeup that takes pretty much as long as any other makeup, if not longer.
What French girls love too, is a lot of skincare and moisturizing (masks, serums, scrubs, SPFs moisturizers) to have a healthy glow, and good basics: concealer, mascara, lip balm, and a good terracotta in summer.

Wanted to share with you guys some favorite haircare products I've been using, and that really work in helping me keep my long hair healthy.
Still more and more into beauty and self care these past couple months. Here are the 6 products I've been using almost everyday for the past year, so definitely recommend them...

One of the habits I've gotten into since moving to NYC, is getting a mani pedi from time to time. It's super relaxing and every time I do it, I feel like I have my life together. I'm definitely higher maintenance than when I was living in Paris but I don't do it that often as it gets quite pricy. I keep it as a ma'self treat and for special occasions. Here below are some of my fave spots in NYC, all with an affordable price point.
Who knows how many clichés there are about French girls. But french pharmacy skincare isn't one. I grew up with my mum using La Roche-Posay, Avène and Klorane products. Here's a selection of my favorite french pharmacy products.
Obsessed with this new oil from Peet Rivko. The texture is so rich I feel how much it moisturizes my skin in seconds, but it doesn't leave my skin oily and shiny that I use it in the morning as well as in the evening. It doesn't itch, it just soothes it in seconds and penetrates easily. I also love the fact that it's all plant-based skincare, 100% non-toxic, and made in the USA.
Here's what I've been putting on my face lately. I'm all about moisturizing and cleaning gently. I don't wear a lot of makeup but I've noticed I'm taking more and more care of my skin...
New year. Old resolutions. I've been taking more care of my skin lately and been trying out new products. I prefer to have less products that I know I'm going to use and that won't sit at the bottom of my vanity case for 2 years.
Hey hey! Here's a little selection of my current beauty products. I don't use much products (too lazy and too late in the morning): I basically just moisturize my skin and lips and wear mascara and sometimes lipstick (but mostly in neutral tones).
